Swiss Short O Championships 1998 (KOM 98) had been held in Seelisberg/Switzerland on August 30th, 1998.
KOM 98 was organised in WOC mode by qualification and final races. The challenge was to have both races on a single day and to apply this mode to 1500 runners in 29 categories. Numbers of qualification resp. final races as well as the distribution of the runners into those races had to be determined according to the SOLV (Swiss O Fed.) rules.
This had been implemented in an add on to OLEinzel named OLSwissKOM.
A short list of OLSwissKOM features:
- Classes planning for qualification and final
- start list for the qualification race
- start list for the final race.
OLSwissKOM had been the prototype for the OEHeats application.
